WHAT IS A LABYRINTH?? - A labyrinth is a circular design, on the ground, that people walk on. It may look like a maze, but it is not; there is only one path in and out - the idea is to go to the center and then back out. People have been using labyrinths for years as a way to symbolically 'walk to the center'. For some this may mean connecting with God, for others it may mean calming down or getting in touch with that 'little voice' we all have inside. Some people walk a labyrinth to find answers to a difficult situation, to pray for peace, or to have something to focus on as they relax and walk. There is not a right or wrong way to do it.
